In preparation of the challenges that lie ahead, multi-Champion, A.J Fulgenzi maintains his focus on building upon the many successes that he has had during his young racing career.
In his first full year of Legends car racing in 2004, A.J was determined to prove himself a contender among the competition. A.J's stellar performance after 23 starts included 7- 1st Place, 8- 2nd Place, 2- 3rd Place and only 1 finish outside of the top 10 in the Inex Legends Car Semi-Pro points chase that allowed A.J to claim the Florida State Championship in his debut season.
Prior to Legends cars, A.J had raced karts since the age of seven and has received many awards in various karting events throughout the Southeastern United States. Recognized as a fierce competitor in the W.K.A (World Karting Association) Dirt Series, A.J has been credited with several wins and many top five finishes on both the State and National level. A.J's most notable accomplishments include a First place finish in the Junior 1 Heavy class of the Daytona Dirt World Championship National Event in 2000. He then proceded to claim Victory in the following Spring National Event which had earned A.J very impressive "Back to Back" National wins on the road to becoming awarded the 2000 Junior 1 Heavy National Championship Crown. Statewide, A.J has earned many victories that has enabled him to claim the State Championship Crown in both Florida and Georgia in the same year. This was an unprecedented feat that was later acknowledged by letter from the World Karting Association.
